In 1982, a small group of families from Orange County, California, each dealing with the cancer diagnosis of a child, felt a lack of opportunities to participate in the usual sorts of family activities. Aside from the physical limitations experienced by kids going through chemo, it detracts from the fun of an outing when you have to stop and explain the bald hairdo to inquisitive strangers. These families joined together and formed a group that would provide activities for pediatric cancer patients and their families. MISSION

OCF OCF provides understanding and caring support to the families of children diagnosed with cancer. Through recreational and social activities, we bring together families facing similar struggles in a relaxed, comfortable environment where they can share burdens and offer each other support and hope.
