World’s GREATEST Beach DAY September 2022

The Orange County Foundation for Oncology Children and Families (OCF-OCF) invites your family to attend our Family Beach Day! Since our traditional Family Camp up in Big Bear was cancelled due to the Radford Fire, we will instead be hosting the Worlds Greatest Beach Day Event, this Saturday, September 10th from 9am-9pm at Doheny State Beach (Dana Point Harbor). The World’s Greatest Beach Day is open to all pediatric oncology patients and their immediate family (siblings, parents and/or guardians. Only two adults per family may attend). Due to the generous donations from both public and private groups, as well as our own fundraising efforts, the World’s Greatest Beach Day is completely FREE OF CHARGE! A day at the beach offers a wide variety of activities including swimming, crafts, sports, cabin activities, a traditional OCF campfire and much, much more! Both lunch an dinner will be provided for you, all you need to do is come and join in on the fun.
Please fill out this survey so we know how many people to expect. It is important to note that RSVPing means that food will be paid for, crafts will be purchased, and the OCF Camp Counselors and Board Members will prepare for your family.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Fill out the attached survey for your family as soon as possible! Also, please bring beach attire, towel, sunscreen, beach chair, beach toys, change of clothes for an evening campfire, flashlight, and any additional snacks or beverages that your family might need. (Both lunch and dinner will be provided along with water and lemonade)
- Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist;
- I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of OCF Staff;
- I hereby knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with OCF Worlds Greatest Beach Day September 2022, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of OCF Staff.
