Big Kids Day at Knott’s April 2024

The Orange County Foundation for Oncology Children and Families (OCF-OCF) invites your family to attend our Big Kids Day at Knott’s held on Saturday, April 13th. This event is open to all pediatric oncology patients and siblings ages 9-18. Due to the generous donations from both public and private groups, as well as our own fundraising efforts, admission to the park is completely FREE OF CHARGE! You will drop off your camper(s) at 9:30am and they will spend the day with their counselors and fellow campers until you pick them up at 5pm. There is something for everyone because Knott’s offers a wide variety of activities including dozens of rides, roller coasters, & attractions in five themed areas!
Please email ocfocfevents@gmail.com so we know how many people to expect. (RSVP by March 31st!) It is important to note that RSVP’ing means that tickets for the campers will be purchased and the OCF Camp Counselors and Board Members will prepare for your family.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Email ocfocfevents@gmail.com with information about how many kids in your family would like to attend as soon as possible! You may want to bring sunscreen, and note that outside food and drink is not allowed in the park, but there are many options to purchase food once inside, so please send your child with money to buy snacks and lunch.
- Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist;
- I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of OCF Staff;
- I hereby knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with this OCF Event, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of OCF Staff.
